How do I add AWS credentials to my RightScale account?

Objective

If you have already completed the Sign up for Amazon Web Services (AWS Credentials) step, and you have registered for a trial account at rightscale.com, then you are ready to add those credentials into RightScale. 

Log in to the Dashboard.

Go to Settings -> Account. Click on the Plan tab.

If you have a free trial or developer account, you need to upgrade your plan type to premium.

Click Upgrade.

Enter the 5 AWS credentials:

• Access Key ID
• Secret Access Key
• Private Key
  
• X.509 Certificate
• AWS Account Number

Click Save. 

Congratulations! You've upgraded your plan to a Developer account.   You may continue to use the Dashboard for your application.  When you are ready to upgrade to a Premium account and take advantage of all the advanced Dashboard features like Monitoring, MySQL Manager, and Autoscaling, you will need to contact our Sales team at sales@rightscale.com or call us at 1.866.720.0208.
