Run a Macro

To run a macro, go to Design -> Macros.  Select the macro that you want to run.

NOTE: You must have 'ec2_actor' privileges within the current account in order to generate a deployment from a macro.

Click the Run button. 

Next, you will be prompted to provide the following information for the new deployment:

• Nickname
• Security Group (you must create a new security group)
• SSH Key (you must create a new SSH key)

The progress of each step will be listed in the Macro Execution window.  (Certain browsers may not be able to display the macro execution information.)

If the deployment was created successfully, click OK.

A new deployment will be created and added to your account.  (Manage -> Servers -> Deployments)

Click on the deployment to see all of its instances.
