Signing Up for RightScale

 

First of all, welcome!  Thanks for your interest in RightScale and for following this guide to getting set up with your new RightScale Account.  There are a few different accounts that you can set up, so please follow this guide and choose the one that is appropriate for you.

Free Trial: Free RightScale Account using RightScale's AWS Credentials

RightScale allows you to setup and launch servers on our dollar.  You will not have access to the S3 Browser, Clustering, or Automation features from our other editions.

  1. To get started simply click here:
    RightScale.com/lp
  2. On page 2 select:
    I want to try out RightScale Developer Account with a few free hours of EC2 time
  3. On page 3 click:
    Create My Free Trial Account

Developer Edition: Free RightScale Account using your own AWS Credentials

This edition of RightScale allows you to link your AWS Credentials to your RightScale account allowing you unlimited access to launch, terminate, and manipulate your servers in the cloud.  If you already have servers running, they will show up in the RightScale dashboard as soon as you link your account.

If you already have a Free Trial Account and wish to upgrade, please click here and follow the instructions.

 

  1. To get started simply click here:

  2. On page 2 select:
    I want to use a RightScale Developer Account with my existing EC2 and S3 accounts
  3. On page 3 enter your Amazon credentials:
