Although you can launch a FlexiScale server directly from an Image (See Launch a FlexiScale Server), you might want to create a template to be used on a regular basis.
NOTE: FlexiScale will only be visible in the Dashboard for select customers. To unlock the FlexiScale features, please contact sales@rightscale.com.
Go to Design -> ServerTemplates and click the New FlexiScale button.

- Nickname - Provide a nickname for your ServerTemplate.
- Description - (Optional) Provide a short description of the ServerTemplate.
- Image - Select the machine image that will be used to build each server.

- Windows Server 2003 Standard
- Debian 4.0 (Etch)
- Centos 5 64-bit
- Ubuntu 6.06 LTS
- Windows Server 2003 Standard 64-bit
- Debian 4.0 64-bit (Etch)
- Ubuntu 8.04 LTS
- CFT Elastic Server JAMwiki (Debian)
- CFT Elastic Server Shindig (Debian)
- CFT Elastic Server Joomla (Debian)
- Package - Select a package.
- Processors - Select the number of processors for each server. (1-4)
- Memory - Select the amount of memory (GB) that will be allocated for each server. (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 GB)
- Disk capacity - Select the amount of disk space (GB) for each server. By default, each server will have 20GB, but you can also attach additional disk space as necessary (20, 20 +50, 20 +100, 20 +250 GB)
- Virtual LAN - Select the appropriate VLAN for the servers.
Click Save.
You will now see basic information about your new FlexiScale ServerTemplate.
