Welcome! Thanks for your interest in RightScale. Our goal is to provide our users with the best tools possible to successfully launch and manage their applications in the cloud! To get started, please sign-up for one our accounts. To learn more, please see our Plans & Pricing.
To get started, follow the link below.
When you create a free trial account, you will be redirected to the Dashboard's homepage (Home -> Dashboard). Notice that you now have valid AWS credentials. If you're a free trial user, you are using complimentary EC2 time from RightScale. Later, if you wish to upgrade to a Free Developer edition or one of our pay editions, you will need to input and validate your own AWS credentials. To upgrade to a Free Developer Edition, see Upgrade Your Account.

If you are already familiar with AWS and have launched instances on EC2 before, you should sign up for our Free Developer Edition. Go to the RightScale Dashboard and click the New user sign-up link.
Complete the sign-up form. You must use a password that has a password strength of at least 'Medium' to be valid.
Next, you will be prompted to add your own AWS credentials into the Dashboard.

To add additional credentials for clouds and/or services such as CloudFront or SQS, see Upgrade Your Account.
When you're ready to upgrade to one of our pay editions, so that you can take advantage of our advanced features such as autoscaling, server arrays, monitoring, and deployments, please contact us.
Enjoy and Welcome to RightScale!
